Ribs

Ingredients Recipe
1 Rack of st louis ribs
1/2 cup bbq sauce
1 onion
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 325 Fahrenheit
  2. Remove membrane from back side of 1 Rack of st louis ribs
  3. Season both sides generously with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder
  4. Chop 1 onion into quarter inch slices
  5. Lay onions flat along diagonal of cookie sheet
  6. Lay ribs on top of onions
  7. Wrap cookie sheet tightly with aluminum foil
  8. Put in oven & check after 1.5-2 hours
  9. Pour on 1/2 cup bbq sauce after meat almost cooked (30 mins remaining)
  10. Remove tin foil & redistribute bbq sauce
  11. Turn on oven broiler and place back in oven until sauce caramelizes ~5-10 mins
  12. Let cool
  13. Slice along bones
