Sausage Bread
Ingredients Recipe
Dough
1 lb White Pizza Dough
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Oregano spice
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
Filling
1 lb Garlic and herb Sausage
1 lb Mozzarella
Egg wash
1 Egg white
1 tsp Oregano spice
1 tsp Garlic spice
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
Steps
- On medium-high heat cook 1 lb Garlic and herb Sausage on stove top until brown
- Place on paper towel to remove excess fat and cool
- Slice 1 lb Mozzarella
- Roll dough out into rectangle
- Place sausage and mozzarella filling in alternating rows onto dough
- Sprinkle herbs on top 1 tsp Oregano spice, 1 tsp Garlic powder, 1 tsp Salt, 1 tsp Pepper
- Roll dough
- Mix egg wash in seperate bowl 1 Egg white, 1 tsp Oregano spice, 1 tsp Garlic spice, 1 tsp Salt, 1 tsp Pepper
- Place rolled dough on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
- Paint egg wash on top of rolled dough to improve browning
- Bake at 350° Fahrenheit for 25-30 minutes until top is browned
- Let cool from 10 minutes, then slice
